Assignment for first class
Read chapters 1 and 2 (pp. 3-64) in Writing and Analysis in the Law. (You may skip over the exercises for now, although we may discuss some of them in class.)
There are several required textbooks for this course. However, this is the only one that you will need for the first three weeks of the semester:
