Re:    Research/Citation Assignment #1 (due Sept. 24)

Read Research Situation C on page 382 of the Kunz textbook (The Process of Legal Research, Fifth Edition), and use it to answer the questions in this assignment.

In the problem set for Chapter 3 (pages 385-388), answer questions 1, 2, 3, 4(a), and 5. You do not need to turn in these answers, but you may need to refer to them as you complete the remainder of this assignment.

In the problem set for Chapter 4 (pages 389-390), answer questions 1 through 5 and 7, using American Jurisprudence 2d. Then, repeat the same steps using Corpus Juris Secundum, and (in the space below question number 7) briefly compare the information that you found in the two encyclopedias.

Turn in your answers to the Chapter 4 problem set. You may use the original pages from the textbook or photocopies of those pages.
